Louise Marshall

Louise Marshall is Senior Fellow in Public Health at the Health Foundation, where her work focuses on the wider determinants of health, and complex systems approaches to health and health inequalities. 


Louise is a Fellow of the Faculty of Public Health and is registered as a Public Health Specialist with the UK Public Health Register. 

 

Alongside her role at the Health Foundation, Louise worked as Consultant in Public Health at Oxfordshire County Council during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020-2021, and between 2015-2020 was Honorary Consultant in Public Health at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. 


Louise joined the Health Foundation in 2014, following Public Health Speciality Training. As a Public Health Registrar, she worked in public health roles spanning policy, practice and research. Prior to this, she was a postdoctoral scientist in public health nutrition and obesity. Louise has a PhD from the University of Cambridge, and Masters degrees in Public Health Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and in Public Health from the University of Cambridge.
