  • How do I get from Manchester Piccadilly Station to The Point, Old Trafford Lancashire Cricket Grounds?
For those travelling in my train, Manchester Piccadilly station is centre hub for Avanti West Coast, Northern, TransPennine Express, CrossCountry and Transport for Wales trains. Once in the station and through the barriers you need to follow the signs towards the Metrolink line which is located down the escalators, below the station. To get to Old Trafford Tram stop, you will need to purchase a ticket to cover zone 1 & 2 for travel, Ticket can be purchased via the machines on the platform, then get on the tram going to Altrincham. You will need to embark off the tram at Old Trafford Tram Stop. The estimated journey from Piccadilly platform to Old Trafford is approximately 17 Minutes, Trams run every 10 minutes all day with the first departing Piccadilly at 05:54 and the last departing Old Trafford at 23:54. Once at Old Trafford Stop, you need to cross over the tracks using the pedestrian crossing and follow the footpath up past the side of the Emirates Cricket Stadium for 5 minutes until you reach the entrance to the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel. Using their doors, please enter then immediately turn right and go out of the doors into the stadium car park. From here you will need to continue to walk around the side of the stadium where you will then see Solace branded signage directing you to The Point and to our registration area. For more information on using the Metrolink in Manchester please visit the Bee Network Online.

  • Can you tell me more about the Summit Charity Dinner on Thursday?
Absolutely. This year's Summit Charity Dinner is in aid of the British Heart Foundation (find out more here: https://www.bhf.org.uk/) as chosen by Solace President and Chief Executive of Dorset Council, Matt Prosser. All delegate tickets include attendance at the Summit Charity Dinner. The Dress code is Lounge Suites Women It is a dress code that requires a formal outfit but with a degree of relaxation. This dress code is not as formal as the black tie dress code, so fancy ball gowns would be too over-the-top. Women are free to play with prints and are not restricted to only wearing a dress. Men A lounge suit is just a traditional suit that you might wear to an event or the office. It's a less formal version of a morning suit, and this suit is worn to formal events where black tie is not required. You can choose a two-piece or three-piece suit, but it's typically accompanied by a shirt and tie.
  • Is seating allocated at the Summit Charity Dinner?
