Executive Director of Place, Royal Borough of Kingston Upon Thames & Solace Non-Executive Director - Lead on Diversity & Inclusion

Nazeya joined the Royal Borough of Kingston as Director of Growth in April 2018 and has responsibility for planning, corporate assets,capital programme, regeneration, housing and estate renewal. With a significant focus on reshaping Kingston town centre and delivering a number of key sites as well as securing a commercial approach to our asset base, her work is focused on ensuring the Council can deliver sustainable growth with communities at the heart of our work. She has established a JV with Countryside which will deliver over 2,000 new homes and associated  community facilities, and was subject to one on the largest resident ballot in London in 2020. She is leading economic recovery work for the sub region and across London with the GLA and most recently  secured the relocation of the global HQ for Unilever to Kingston bringing 2,000 jobs into the local economy. She is also responsible for  a comprehensive set of development across a number of Council sites which will deliver new leisure, community and housing uses. 

She sits on the Solace Board, and mentors colleagues across the sector with a particular focus on supporting talent and diversity in leadership.
